Apply Stage Template dialog

The Apply Stage Template dialog allows you to change the stage template applied to the current project and to import/export stage templates. It also allows you to access the Edit Stage Template dialog.

  • You can open the Apply Stage Template dialog by choosing Play > Stage Template.

Apply Stage Template dialog

The Apply Stage Template dialog comprises the following:

  1. Search field

    Allows you to filter stage templates in the list according to your entry.

  2. Name column

    Contains a list of the stage templates available on your computer. You can click the column header to change the sorting order.

  3. Factory column

    Contains the factory symbol if the stage template in the corresponding row is a factory default stage template. You can click the column header to change the sorting order.

  4. Action bar

    Contains the following options:

    • Add Stage Template : Opens the Edit Stage Template dialog and allows you to create a new stage template.

    • Duplicate Stage Template : Opens the Edit Stage Template dialog and allows you to create a new stage template that starts as a duplicate of the selected one.

    • Edit Stage Template : Opens the Edit Stage Template dialog and allows you to edit the existing selected stage template.

      Note

      You cannot edit factory default stage templates.

    • Show Factory : Allows you to hide/show factory default stage templates in the table.

    • Export: Opens the File Explorer/macOS Finder, where you can select the location to which you want to export the currently selected stage templates as .dorico_stt files. You can then import the .dorico_stt files into Dorico Pro on other computers and share them with other users.

    • Import: Opens the File Explorer/macOS Finder, where you can select the .dorico_stt files that you want to import as stage templates.

    • Delete : Deletes the selected stage templates.

      Note

      You cannot delete factory default stage templates.

  5. Apply and Close

    Applies the selected stage template to the project and closes the dialog.
