Space templates

Space templates allow you to define the panning and reverb settings of a space, such as a room or concert hall, so that you can hear how your project might sound in the corresponding space.

For example, the factory default space templates add more reverb to instruments positioned at the back of the stage to emulate how music sounds when played from a distance.

When you apply space templates to projects, Dorico Pro changes the panning and reverb settings for all channels in the Mixer simultaneously.

Space templates are available in all projects that you open or create on your computer. You can export custom space templates; for example, to share them with other users.

Space templates are saved as .dorico_spt files.

Tip

In combination with space templates, you can use stage templates to position instruments in different arrangements for playback.
