Adding FX channels

You can add multiple FX channels to the Mixer; for example, if you want to use a different reverb sound for each instrument family.

The Mixer can contain a maximum of eight FX channels.

Prerequisite

The Mixer is shown, either in the lower zone or in the Mixer window.

Procedure

• In the Mixer toolbar, click Add Effects Channel .

Result

A new FX channel is added. It is positioned to the right of all existing FX channels in the Mixer.

After Completing This Task

You can load inserts into the FX channel and change its EQ using its channel strip.
