Editing Layers
The sounds in Backbone are made up of up to eight layers. Each layer contributes a specific detail of the sound, for example, the tonal and noise components of a drum sound. You can adjust and modify the sound of each layer extensively in the edit section.

In the Edit section, you can edit the layers.

The Edit section contains the Sample, Resynth, Pitch, Filter, and Amp pages.

By default, the Edit section shows an overview of all pages for the selected layer and the layer in the slot below. The selected layer is shown in pink, the layer that is not selected is shown in gray.
