Parts and events are the basic building blocks in Nuendo.

This section describes techniques for editing in the Project window. If not explicitly stated, all descriptions apply to both events and parts, even though we use the term event for convenience.

Selecting with the Object Selection Tool

Procedure

Click Object Selection.
In the event display, click the events that you want to select.

You can also use the Up Arrow, Down Arrow, Left Arrow or Right Arrow keys on the computer keyboard to select the event on the upper or lower track or the previous or next event on the same track.

Result

Selected events are highlighted in the event display.

Note

Selected events are highlighted with red borders by default. Alternatively, you can choose to darken their background. You can set this behavior in the Preferences dialog (Event Display page).
