Automation
In essence, automation refers to recording values for a particular MixConsole or effect parameter. When you create your final mix, Nuendo can adjust this particular parameter control.
Automation Panel
The Automation Panel is a floating window and can be left open while you work.
Operations Tab
The Operations tab contains all the functions that you need to perform automation operations.
Fill Options
The Fill options define what happens in a specific section of your project when you punch out of a running automation pass.
Activating Loop

Activating Loop

Prerequisite

You have set up a loop range with the left and right locators.

On the Automation Panel, activate Touch, and activate Loop as the Fill option.
Start playback.
Move the fader until you have found the volume setting that you want, and release the fader to punch out.

The found value is set within the range defined by the left and right locators.
