Adding Macros

You can set up a combination of several functions or commands to be performed as a macro.

Procedure

  1. Select Edit > Key Commands.
  2. Open the macros section.
  3. Click New Macro.
  4. In the macros section, double-click the new macro, enter a name for it, and press Return to confirm it.
  5. In the key command section, select the first command you want to include in the macro.
  6. In the macros section, click Add Command.
    Note

    Commands are added to the macros list after the selected command. You can change the order of the commands by clicking Move Command Up in Macro or Move Command Down in Macro.

  7. In the key commands section, select the next command, and click Add Command.

Result

The new macro is added. You can select it from the Macros submenu of the Edit menu.

You can also assign key commands to a macro. Macros are shown in the Macro category.
