Markers
Markers identify specific positions within your project. You can add markers to determine the start and end of a passage in a longer recording or mark a position for editing, for example.
Adding Markers
You can add markers using the Record panel or the marker track.

You can add markers using the Record panel or the marker track.

Markers are inserted at the cursor position. You can set markers while recording or after recording.

Procedure

Do one of the following:
- On the Record panel, click Add Marker.
  
  This automatically opens the Description field for editing, allowing you to enter a name for the marker.
- On the marker track, click Add Marker .

Result

A marker is inserted at the cursor position.
