Prerequisite
The audio file is segmented and the segments are correct. You have opened the audio in the Sample Editor and activated the Pitch & Warp tool in the VariAudio section.
Procedure
- Select one or several segments, and move the mouse pointer over it.
The mouse pointer becomes a hand symbol.
- Perform one of the following actions to raise or lower the pitch:
Drag the segment up or down and release the mouse.
Use the Up Arrow/Down Arrow to change the pitch in semitone steps.
Hold down Shift and use Up Arrow/Down Arrow to change the pitch in cent steps.
Note The more the pitch deviates from the original pitch, the less likely it is that your audio sounds natural. You cannot choose note pitches above C5 and below E0.
Result
The Solo algorithm is selected automatically and the segment pitch is raised or lowered according to your settings.
