Exporting OpenTL Files

Prerequisite

All audio files in the Pool and all tracks in the Project window are in mono and in 16 bit or 24 bit. All referenced audio files are located on the drive to which you want to export the OpenTL file.

Note

When exporting OpenTL files on PC, do not change the DF or NDF frame notation after you have set the project start time. All audio files in the Pool must have the same sample rate, bit depth, and be set to Broadcast Wave file type.

Procedure

  1. Select File > Export > OpenTL.
  2. In the Export Options dialog, select the tracks that you want to include in the exported file and make your settings.
  3. Click OK.
  4. In the file dialog, specify a name and location.
  5. Click Save.

Result

The exported file contains all audio track data, including file references, clip-based volume automation, fade-in, fade-out, and crossfades.

Any real-time mixing, EQ, effects settings, breakpoint automation tracks, or MIDI tracks made in Nuendo are not included in the exported file.
