The Mixer allows you to control the volume, panning, and sounds of channels in playback.
Stage templates
Stage templates allow you to set appropriate stage positions for all instruments in the project simultaneously, using the visual representation of a stage as seen from above to make this process easier. Stage positions determine the panning and reverb settings for instruments in playback.
Applying/Resetting stage templates
You can change the stage template applied to the current project; for example, to use a different arrangement of instruments for panning and reverb. Re-selecting stage templates resets them to their default settings.

Procedure

Choose Play > Stage Template to open the Apply Stage Template dialog.
Select the stage template that you want to use.
Click Apply and Close.

Result

The stage template applied to the current project is changed. If you re-selected the stage template already in use, the stage template is reset.

Tip

You can change the default stage template used for all future projects on the Play page in Preferences.

After Completing This Task

You can change the space template applied to the project; for example, to hear your music with the acoustic qualities of a different performance space.
