Trimming the Event Start and End

You can drag the event borders to hide sections of a recording or to recover audio from the pre-record buffer, for example.

1. Position the mouse on the lower right or left corner of an event so that a double arrow is shown.

   
   

   

   
   

2. Click and drag.

   How much you can drag depends on the length of the recording. An event cannot be extended beyond the start or end of the audio recording.

   Note

   When you release the mouse button, a fade of 10 ms is added to create smoother transitions.
