This example shows you how to connect Nuendo to GoPro VR Player version 3.0.5.
Procedure

In GoPro VR Player, select .

On the Video Decoding page, select Windows Media Foundation as Backend.

On the Primary/Secondary page, select Secondary as Communication Mode.

On the Controllers page, change the settings for Head-Mounted Display SDK as required.
In most cases, Auto mode is suitable.

Close the GoPro VR Player preferences menu.

In Nuendo, select .

In the GoPro VR Player Remote window, click Select Video File, and select the video file in the file dialog.
This allows Nuendo to remote-control GoPro VR Player. The file selection is saved in your Nuendo project.
Note
If the video file is located on a remote computer in your network that you cannot access through the file dialog, you can click the video file field and manually enter the full file path.

Select the Video Stereoscopy format of the selected video file.

Enter the IP Address/Port of the computer where the GoPro VR Player is running.
By default, IP Address/Port is set to the local computer.

Optional: If no head-mounted display is used, activate Send Head-Tracking Data.
This allows you to send tracking information from the Head Tracking window to GoPro VR Player.

Activate Connect to sync the transport of GoPro VR Player with Nuendo.
Result
GoPro VR Player is controlled by the transport of Nuendo and head-tracking data that is sent from a VR controller connected to your system.
