Disabling Third Party Plug-ins

If Nuendo does not start or if a project does not load, chances are, that this is due to a third party plug-in. In such a case, you can disable third party plug-ins on startup to identify, if the plug-in is the reason.

Procedure

  1. Quit Nuendo.
  2. Launch Nuendo, and hold down Ctrl/Cmd-Alt-Shift.
  3. In the Plug-Ins section of the Safe Start Mode dialog, activate Deactivate all third party plug-ins.
  4. Click OK.

Result

Only Steinberg plug-ins are available after startup, and third party plug-ins are temporarily disabled.
