Numbered bar regions allow you to show bar counts in specific regions without additional notations. This can help performers keep track of how many bars have passed when playing repetitive music.

Numbered bar region counts are numbers shown at regular intervals either above or below the staff, to help performers keep track of how many bars have passed.
Aligning counts in numbered bar regions
By default, counts in numbered bar regions are not aligned across systems to allow individual counts to be positioned as close to the staff as possible. You can align all numbered bar region counts project-wide vertically within each system, with their position determined by the count furthest from the staff.

Procedure

Press Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-E to open Engraving Options.
In the category list, click Bar Repeats.
In the Numbered Bar Regions section, activate Align bar counts across width of system.
Click Apply, then Close.
