Engrave mode
Engrave mode allows you to manipulate and modify every item in your project, but without deleting them, moving them rhythmically, or changing the pitch of notes. You can also determine how the pages in each layout of your project are formatted for printing or exporting.
Page templates
Page templates in Dorico Pro allow you to achieve consistent page formatting by applying the same arrangements of frames to multiple pages and in different layouts.
Page template sets
In Dorico Pro, page templates are provided as parts of page template sets. Page template sets group page templates and flow headings together, so there is suitable page formatting available for all possible situations in your project.
Importing page template sets
You can import page template sets into projects; for example, if you want to use a page template set you created on a different computer or that contains a specific page template you want to use. Page template sets are saved as .doricolib files.

Procedure

In the Pages panel, click Import Page Template Set in the Page Template Sets action bar to open the File Explorer/macOS Finder.
Locate and select the page template set file you want to import.
Click Open.

Result

The selected page template set is imported, including all page templates and flow headings included in the page template set. It becomes available in the current project only.

After Completing This Task

You can import individual page templates from the page template set into other page template sets in your project.
You can apply the page template set to layouts.
