Adding Articulations
Procedure
- In the Symbols Inspector, open the Expression Map section.
- Activate the articulation symbol, and click at the desired position in the note display.
Result
The articulation symbols inserted in the note display are shown in a different color so that you can distinguish them from other score symbols.
Note
You can view and change the colors in the Preferences dialog (Score-Colors for Additional Meanings page).
After Completing This Task

To hide the articulation symbols, open the Score Settings dialog on the Project page–Notation Style subpage, and in the Miscellaneous category, activate Hide Expression Map Symbols.

To delete an articulation symbol, select it and press Backspace or Delete.
