Permanently Applying Extension Edits

Permanently applying extension edits is useful if you want to open the project with another program, or if you want to apply offline processing to the edited audio event.

Procedure

  1. Select the audio event.
  2. Select Audio > Bounce Selection.
  3. Click Replace.

Result

All editing that you performed using the extension is rendered into a new file. The extension is deactivated, and the lower zone editor changes back to the Sample Editor.

A clip for the new file is added to the Pool, and the original event is replaced by a new event playing the new clip.
