Setting up Locator Ranges

You can set up the locator range, that is, the area between the left and the right locator.

Procedure

Do one of the following:

  • Click and drag in the upper part of the ruler.

  • Select a range or an event and press P to set the locators to the selection.

  • Double-click a cycle marker.

  • Press Ctrl/Cmd-Alt and click at a position in the upper part of the ruler to set both locators to the nearest snap position.

Result

The locator range is set up and highlighted in the ruler and the event display.
